Gripe of the Day

While in Starbucks today, I came across the following album:As if country music didn’t have enough grammatical errors already.

I bet this album was marketed by the same people who did the “RUN EASY BOSTON” Reebok ads.

  1. Aren’t you happy that the album title isn’t Its Not Big Its Large?

Seriously – can you really quibble with the title It’s Not Big It’s Large if the name of the band is Lyle Lovett and His Large Band? A comma would be nice, but it really breaks up the flow of the lettering in the cover art (an art form which I’m sure has never claimed to use full sentences).

  2. If this were the worst linguistic shortcoming encountered in a paper-grading day, it would be the happiest day of my professional life.

  3. What they said.

  4. Yeah, what’s your point, Grammar Vandal? I have to say I’m not sure what the problem is here. Len summed it up best.
