I give much kudos for the members of the group for posting these fabulous pictures.

Also…

Some of you guessed.  Some of you are correct.

My big Thankgiving trip is a solo trip to Buenos Aires!  It’s my first trip entirely alone and my first trip to South America.  I’m so excited!  :-)

  1. Seriously? Because I could have sworn it was Antarctica.

Maybe it’s just the evening’s drinks catching up to me.

    Prob’ly.

    woot!

  2. Have fun in B.A Try to make it down to Perito Moreno if you have time and money: you won’t regret it.

  3. Thankgiving????!!!!!

  4. Buenos Aires (pronounced Bueno Sie res, by the way) is a great city. You’d think you were in Europe. Lots of great pizza!

Try to get your hotel or restaurant to call your taxi. Hailing one yourself is not a great idea. Also, when traveling to and from the airport, don’t put your luggage in the front seat. Our taxi was ambushed very early one morning on the way to the airport near an elevated highway. Our driver didn’t stop, but a rock hit our window.

Other than that, Argentina is the best country in S. America. Enjoy!

  5. HA! Not too too far from Antarctica, Simon! Someday…

And yes, furpurrson, Thanksgiving. I have a small family and I’m not big on Thanksgiving in general. I have yet to tell my parents. :-)

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I appreciate every bit of it!

  6. LOL, Kate, didn’t you catch your own typo (“s” missing from “Thanksgiving”) ? ;-)

  7. Holy crap.
