Some stars create ditzy personas for themselves, when in reality they are quite intelligent. Take Dolly Parton. I adore that woman! She is feisty, daring and very intelligent, and on top of her giant bosom, tiny waist, bleached hair and pounds of makeup, she knows exactly what she’s doing.
Jessica Simpson has always had a ditzy personality, and I have no doubt that she plays it up for the cameras on occasion. However, unlike Dolly Parton, I don’t think it’s that much of a stretch!

It seems unlikely to me that a person who isn’t sure “asks” is a word, and who spells “laziness” phonetically, would spell grammar correctly, instead of the all too common “grammer”.
did you mean to say “however, UNlike Dolly Parton..”?

Maybe she was trying to be hip with her spelling of “laziness” — like the way Jay-Z spells his name. LOL.
I agree with you, Kate: I don’t think it’s much of a stretch AT ALL.
Jessica Simpson is dumber than rocks; I would expect nothing less (or more, for that matter) from someone who thought that tuna came from chicken. I’d comment further, but I’m feeling too layzi right now.
At least she spelled “grammar” right.
She who asks the best questions gets the best answers. Jessica is OK. A little overrated, though, IMHO.
Maybe she misspelled “Aks”?

Aww… adorable! A stupid woman…ooooo…look, honey… she even spelled “laziness” wrong! She’s so CUTE! Mm! She totally makes me want to get a vapid “singer-actres” of my own.
I think she has room for improvement in many areas of her life, grammar being first.
At first I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was asking about that ugly corporate lingo useage of “asks” as a noun to mean “inquiries.” But then I noticed the spelling of layziness. Goodness.
At least it’s proof that her Twitter isn’t being run by an assistant or handler, I guess.
We all have our moments of shame… one time I was playing Scrabble and I asked my opponent if ‘e-y-e’ was a word. Yeah, I think I was wrapped up in thinking about how ‘eye’ is a word in a Ghanaian language and its English meaning somehow momentarily slipped my mind… wtf?
Ms. Simpson could simply be making an honest mistake! Perhaps she has never heard “asks” before, as I am afraid many people still use “ax” instead. Example: “I axed him if he could help me with my grammar.”
